AUSTIN, TX — June 26, 2025 — Prometheus Security Group (PSG), a leader in Zero Trust physical security solutions, proudly announces the appointment of Thomas Segars as Director of Strategic Security Programs. In this role, Mr. Segars will lead the company’s strategic initiatives and business development efforts across the federal government landscape, with a focus on mission-critical infrastructure, national security programs, and advanced edge security deployment. Segars brings over three decades of experience in physical security, nuclear security, anti-terrorism, and federal law enforcement. A retired United States Air Force Colonel, Segars most recently served as the Director of Intelligence, Strategic Plans and Requirements for the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, where he oversaw planning and threat mitigation strategies across global Air Force installations. Segars holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Georgia, a master’s in human resources development from Webster University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. A graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 263), he holds a Department of Defense Counter-Insider Threat Professional certification.
