Military installation flight line at dawn with hangars and a secured perimeter

Defense Installations

From PL1N weapons storage to flight lines and perimeters, PSG gives every sensor, reader and camera on an installation a trusted device identity and authenticated communications.

The challenge

The installation is layered. The far edge still is not.

Defense installations are protected in depth: protection levels, response forces, intrusion detection and assessment video. The weakest link is often the oldest one. Sensors on the fence, contacts on the vault door and cameras on the flight line still connect over analog loops and links that carry no device identity.

A Zero Trust mandate that stops at the network leaves those devices trusted by default. The work is to extend authentication to them on the wiring already in the ground, in step with program schedules: modernization without rip-and-replace.

Where PSG sits

PSG is the Embedded Zero Trust Architecture for Physical Security. On an installation it works in two layers: authenticated devices at the far edge, and operations acting on verified data.

How PSG applies

Proven at Protection Level 1

PSG's architecture was developed for U.S. Air Force Protection Level 1 Nuclear environments. LINX 10 Enterprise is PL1N certified for access control and intrusion detection, and VICADS V100 is certified for Protection Levels 1 to 4.

Authority to Operate

VICADS V100 and the CyberSecurity Solution hold Risk Management Framework Authorities to Operate on government networks, and CSS enforces DISA STIG baselines, patching and device identity across every layer of the architecture.

Extend the perimeter

Portable IDS brings fixed-site perimeter detection and assessment video to temporary sites and expeditionary perimeters, deployable within eight hours by a team of three and managed in the same command and control used at fixed sites.
