Where it sits

Video Management spans two layers: Scene Authentication and the Emitter work at the camera in Acquisition and Control, and VICADS verifies and manages video in IT and OT Operations.

How it works

Video operators and investigators can trust

Beyond the camera lens

Scene Authentication is PSG's patented method of authenticating video from the scene itself. A Scene Emitter places PKI encrypted light pulses in the camera's field of view, and the receiver verifies that footage is authentic, live and location specific. If the pattern is interrupted the system alarms, and emitter pulses are filtered from the operator's view so an insider cannot tell protection is active.

Two ways to deploy it

With VICADS, Scene Authentication is part of the video management system: keep existing cameras, install an Emitter in the scene, and VICADS does the pairing. Or load the software directly on the camera, as already done on Axis for DoD and DOE programs, and the camera pairs with the Emitter. PSG strengthens the cameras and VMS you run; it does not replace them.

Why the picture is verified

PSG is the Embedded Zero Trust Architecture for Physical Security, and video is part of it. Each camera carries a trusted device identity, each stream is verified at the source, and VICADS V100 passes only authenticated, encrypted feeds to the security operations center and to storage, so operators act on verified data and evidence keeps its chain of custody.

How it fits with the systems you run

VICADS V100 supports analog and IP cameras for gradual migration, runs PL1N certified software on Linux servers with Windows clients, and carries certifications for Protection Levels 1 to 4 and RMF Authority to Operate. Programs standardized on VICADS 4.3.X keep their investment, with a direct path to V100 when ready: modernization without rip-and-replace.
