Airport perimeter fence at dusk with aircraft on the apron beyond it

Industries

Airports & Aviation

From the perimeter fence to the airside door, PSG gives every sensor, reader and camera at an airport a trusted device identity and authenticated communications, at scale.

The challenge

Thousands of doors and sensors, trusted by default

An airport runs physical security at scale: perimeter fence detection, airside doors, access readers across terminals and cargo, and cameras everywhere. Much of that equipment was installed over years and still reports over analog loops and links that authenticate nothing. A reader can be swapped or a signal injected, and the system has no way to tell.

Replacing field devices across an operating airport is slow and disruptive. The work is to authenticate the devices already installed, door by door and input by input, inside normal maintenance windows: modernization without rip-and-replace.

Where PSG sits

PSG is the Embedded Zero Trust Architecture for Physical Security. At an airport it works in two layers: authenticated readers and cameras at the edge, and operations on verified data.

How PSG applies

Density where it counts

Each Universal Field Panel supports up to 128 inputs, 64 outputs and 16 readers, lowering cost per door and per input. Existing analog sensors and wiring are reused, so terminals and cargo areas migrate on their own schedule.

One pair of wires per door

With DESI, a door's request to exit, lock control, door position and tamper signals travel over a single pair of wires to the panel, reducing cabling by more than half, and every input and output carries a cryptographic identity.

Trusted video on both sides

Scene Authentication works with any camera and verifies that live video is authentic and location specific. VICADS V100 passes only authenticated feeds to operators and storage, with analog and IP cameras supported.
